While I devoted many decades to the study and creation of dance and performance work, four years ago I began painting regularly. I currently work in watercolor, oil, and acrylic. Before the pandemic, my brother caught me sketching at Monet’s gardens in Giverny, France, and took this picture.
It was amazing to see the place of Monet’s inspiration… when I first began painting, I made an acrylic piece called “Homage Monet”:
